Cabin in the Sky is the recently released tenth studio album by the pioneering hip-hop group De La Soul, available as of November 21, 2025. It is their first album since the 2023 death of founding member David “Trugoy the Dove” Jolicoeur and serves as a full-color celebration and tribute to his life and legacy.
The album blends De La Soul’s unique sound and thought-provoking lyrics, exploring themes of life, loss, remembrance, and the afterlife. It features previously unreleased vocals from Trugoy and includes a stacked lineup of guest artists and producers, such as DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Killer Mike, Nas, Common, and Black Thought.
